Any eligible registered voter desiring to early vote in advance during this period may do so in-person. No reason is required for absentee early voting.   Savannah Locations & Times:

ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL:

DEADLINE TO REQUEST Absentee Ballot:  Friday, November 30 before 5:00 PM.  A written request for an absentee ballot may be submitted by mail, fax, e-mail attachment -or- you may complete the Application in person at the Chatham County Voter Registration Office, 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31416. You must file a separate application for each election and runoff election for which you are requesting an absentee ballot; except if you are a voter who is over the age of 65 or disabled, a military service member or spouse of a service member, or overseas citizen (temporary or permanent).  Please submit your application early. Call Chatham County Voter Registration at 912-790-1520 for further details.

ABSENTEE  BALLOTS  SPECIAL  NOTICE:

Runoff Voted Absentee Ballotsmust be received at the Chatham County Voter Registration office by 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 4th UNLESS you are a military or overseas absentee voter. If you are a military or overseas absentee voter, your voted ballot is due back to our office by Friday, December 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

ELECTION  DAY   VOTING:

To Vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Dec. 4, you must go to your assigned precinct.  Polls open at 7:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM.  Sometimes the lines are long.  In order to vote on Election Day, you must be in line by 7:00 PM.
